Film Viewing: Feb 22nd “Children of the Light” – Desmond Tutu

“Children of the Light”  is a documentary by PeaceJam about Desmond Tutu and the struggle to end Apartheid in South Africa.

The film will be shown on Monday, February 22nd at 7-9pm, 207 Chapman Hall.

Students will also have the opportunity to learn more about PeaceJam and how to become a PeaceJam Mentor.  You can also click here for more information.

The PeaceJam Foundation is an international organization that works to connect youth and Nobel Peace Laureates. By introducing these positive members of society, PeaceJam hopes to empower young people to create positive change in themselves, their communities and the world. After completion of the PeaceJam curriculum, youth will spend two-days interacting with the world leader and hundreds of other motivated youth leaders from across the Northwest. They will also participate in workshops, service projects, and family groups led by university mentors.
